Announcements For Seniors

Dear Parents/Guardians and the Class of 2021,

As we have settled into this unusual start we first want to recognize and thank the senior class for embracing change, providing leadership and welcoming the Freshmen Class.

Although things may be different, we continue to strive to maintain traditions and rituals that mark a high school experience.  To that end, we are preparing for the graduation portrait sessions.  Presently, there is not a company that is allowing for the sharing of clothing (i.e. drapes, tuxedoes and cap and gowns).  In order to mitigate this and move forward, ensuring a photo is taken to commemorate each student’s senior year, we have designed a four (4) step process:

STEP ONE - Seniors order their cap and gowns on 9/22, 9/23, 9/24* and 9/25* (Hybrid/Blended during their scheduled school day in school on any of the four days listed above;  *Remote only students from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm only on 9/24 and 9/25).

Please use this link to see the ordering options.

STEP TWO - Senior Yearbook Portrait Session (September 30th, October 1st and October 2nd, 2020 (3:00 pm - 7:30 pm).  Information as to these sessions including acceptable attire and setting up appointments will be sent to your email directly from Island Photo.  For your convenience, all sessions will be scheduled here at the high school.

STEP THREE - Senior Cap & Gown Portrait Session date to be determined approximately early November.  Gowns that will be ordered are called “Keeper Gowns” and for this session we will be asking students to wear the gown they ordered.

STEP FOUR - If (and hopefully when) the situation allows for us to take the standard tuxedo and gown photo, we will coordinate dates and times with Island Photo to make that happen.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Assistant Principal Mr. Andrew Frisone at 516-305-8703 or
