Start With Hello week at Searingtown started Monday, September 19th. Start With Hello was created by the Sandy Hook Promise, to encourage students to increase empathy for those around us and reach out to peers who may be alone, left out, or isolated. Students learn to be upstanders, to use their voices when something seems wrong, whether it be for our community, a peer, or themselves. Activities and lessons have been developed for both home and school.
