Herricks' annual Dig Pink night— held on Monday, October 2nd— was a huge success! The Great Neck North HS Boys & the Elmont HS Girls High School Volleyball teams participated in this year's event, which saw the gymnasium transformed into a veritable “sea of pink" as both spectators and team members turned out in support of "spiking out" breast cancer!

Dig Pink is the name of the breast cancer awareness rally that takes place in gymnasiums all over the country during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). All proceeds are donated to the Side-Out Foundation, which was established in 2004.
