Students in Mrs. Kayes' class created simple closed circuits while visiting the Denton Maker Space.  Using aluminum foil, a button cell battery and a LED light, students learned about the two types of polarity. There are (+,cathode) and a negative (-, anode).  A LED light will only light up if you have wired the polarity correctly.
