Herricks Middle School had nine students participate in the Long Island Math Fair. While traditionally held at Hofstra University, the math fair sponsored by the Nassau County Association of Mathematics Supervisors (NCAMS) was held remotely this year. After choosing a math topic, students wrote a research paper and created a video presentation to be submitted for judging. Out of the nine who participated, we earned 5 gold medals, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
