    Congratulations to Herricks Middle School Math Research students and their teacher Ms. Khan. 9 students entered the Long Island Math Fair. They came home with 5 gold medals, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

    On May 26, Herricks Middle School held their annual Incoming 6th Grade Parent Orientation in the auditorium. First time and returning parents heard about the 6th grade academic program, expectations, extracurricular activities, and the plethora or changes that their middle school students will experience over the next three years.

  • Herricks Summer Writing Program

    The Herricks High School Summer Writing Program is an opportunity for students motivated in the world of English Language Arts to develop their writing through immersive and innovative online classes and additional activities with guest speakers. Students at all skill levels will explore genres such as poetry, fiction, and nonfiction during the course of the week, craft their own creative work, and share with their peers. The goal is to engage the imagination and to live like a writer for a short while. Registration is $150 through MySchoolBucks.com (deadline 06.10.22)

  • Students Honored in Photography Competition

    Using their creative eye in capturing a glimpse of “Il Bel Paese” (Italy), Matthew was awarded second place and Liana was awarded third place in the “Gara di Foto 2021” (Photo Competition) organized by the AATI of Long Island (American Association of Teachers of Italian – Long Island Chapter).
