Peace, Love & Poetry: A Multi-Grade Collaboration

What happens when 1st grade and 4th grade join forces? A whole lot of inspiration.

Mrs. Martinez’s 1st graders and Ms. Utz’s 4th graders teamed up to turn National Poetry Month into a true community celebration. This special collaboration allowed our older Scotties to mentor our younger poets, as they worked together to recite, read and compose poetry with confidence, creativity and heart.

At Searingtown, our young poets don’t just learn poetry—they bring it to life, spreading peace, love, happiness and inspiration one stanza at a time.
