The first-grade Searingtown Scotties took a unique approach to their Thanksgiving feast this year! The annual "Book Tasting" event left our students full of great stories and inspiration! For this special event, the classroom was transformed into a restaurant, complete with a menu offering a wide variety of genres to explore, including an appetizer, main entrée and dessert. And what's better than a meal with live music?

This creative experience allowed our students to sample different genres, expanding their excitement and love for reading all types of books.
