"Balloons Over Searingtown" Thanksgiving Parade Takes Flight

Fourth grade students and staff at Searingtown proudly showcased their creativity and school spirit during the “Balloons Over Searingtown” Thanksgiving balloon parade on Nov. 24.

Families joined in the festivities, assisting students in constructing colorful balloons featuring classic characters and new favorites, including the 6-7 balloon. Parents and community members lined the sidewalks as students paraded through the school grounds, proudly displaying their creations and bright smiles.

As students returned to the school, hallways were filled with cheering classmates, celebrating their peers’ artistic efforts and the joy of the holiday season. The event highlighted the collaboration, creativity and community spirit that make Searingtown a special place for learning and celebration.
