In recognition of Unity Day on Oct. 16, students at Herricks Middle School joined together to show that kindness, acceptance, and inclusion transcends all cultural and language barriers.

Students and staff proudly wore orange to signify unity and worked together to create a mural featuring Unity Day messages written in their home languages. 

This creative expression of unity helped to further our mission of ending bullying and celebrating diversity.
