Ten talented students from Herricks Middle School delivered an outstanding performance at the recent North Shore Math Invitational, securing a top-tier finish against dozens of competing schools.
Demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and teamwork, the Herricks squad earned first place overall out of 30 participating teams. The victory underscores the dedication of the students and the strength of the district’s mathematics program.
In addition to the team’s success, two Herricks students distinguished themselves by earning the highest individual honors of the competition, with Alan Ji securing first place overall and Gavin Jiang earning second place overall.
