Sophomore Selected for “Long Island’s Best” Exhibition at the Heckscher Museum of Art
The district is proud to announce that Herricks High School sophomore Dylan Ng has been selected to exhibit his artwork in the prestigious “Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at the Heckscher Museum” exhibition.

Dylan’s artwork was one of just 80 pieces chosen by a juried panel of artists from more than 400 submissions representing students in grades 9-12 from across Long Island. This distinguished recognition highlights Dylan’s creativity, dedication and artistic talent.

His work will be on display at the Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington from March 29 through May 3. A special awards ceremony honoring all selected student artists will take place at the museum on March 28.

Now celebrating its 30th year, “Long Island’s Best” is a highly regarded annual initiative that showcases the exceptional work of Long Island’s young artists and provides students with the unique opportunity to display their artwork in a professional museum setting.

The Herricks school community congratulates Dylan on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to celebrating his success.
