Middle School Content Creation Class Visits STAC for Improv Workshop

On Feb. 14, 8th graders from Mr. Heit's Content Creation class visited the STAC program at Herricks High School to learn all about improv theater.

Improvisation is a key theater skill that can be applied across multiple fields. In podcasting, being able to think on the fly and react creatively leads to engaging content.

The students from both programs had a great day playing theater games to boost their spontaneity. From carrying on multiple conversations at once to giving expert presentations on fake topics, everyone is ready to jump into their next creative project.
