On April 23, Herricks middle and high school students participated in the first-ever Herricks Band Festival. 

At this inaugural event, band students from grades 6-12 collaborated and played music together. 

Middle school students got to experience the high school band classes and sat alongside high school band students. High school students modeled rehearsal techniques, musical skills and performed their advanced repertoire. 

All students enjoyed performing music together and creating connections through this experience. Middle school students were inspired and motivated by the level of the high school musicians and cannot wait to participate in another experience like this in the future!
