Herricks Celebrates Spring Art Shows and Honors Fine Arts Director

Herricks Public Schools recently celebrated the incredible creativity, vision and hard work of our student-artists at the annual Elementary, Middle and High School Spring Art Shows!

The vibrant exhibitions showcased a stunning array of artwork across all grade levels, serving as a beautiful culmination of our students' artistic growth this year.

Honoring Our Seniors and Faculty

During the exhibitions, special recognition was given to our graduating high school seniors, who were honored for their deep dedication and outstanding commitment to the fine arts department throughout their high school careers.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing art teachers. Their passion, guidance and endless encouragement inspire our students to take creative risks and bring vibrant artistry to life across our district every day.

25 Years of Excellence: Anissa Arnold

The celebration marked a major milestone for our district leadership. Director of Fine and Performing Arts Anissa Arnold was officially recognized by the Town of North Hempstead for her 25 years of dedication and service to the Herricks community.

Thank you, Anissa, for your visionary leadership and for helping shape the Herricks art and music departments into premier, well-known programs defined by excellence, creativity and student success.

Congratulations to all of our student artists, our seniors and Ms. Arnold!
