At the March 13 meeting, the Herricks Board of Education recognized seven Herricks High School student athletes who had an exceptional winter season, earning championship trophies for Herricks in three competitive sports.

Students honored at the meeting include Nassau County fencing champions Om Thakur and William Wei, Nassau County swimming champions Matt Chang, Tyler Ip, Andrew Simons and Matthew Simons and Nassau County shot put champion Kenneth Ramdayal.

The district is incredibly proud of our students' accomplishments and would like to thank Athletic Director Jim Petricca for his hard work and dedication to the Herricks Athletics Department!
