Herricks Board of Education Recognizes Regeneron STS Scholars

At the Feb. 12 meeting, the Herricks Board of Education proudly recognized four Herricks High School seniors who have been named Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholars, one of the nation’s most prestigious science and mathematics competitions for high school students.

This honor highlights the students’ exceptional research, innovation and academic excellence in STEM fields. Each scholar conducted original research that demonstrates not only technical skill but also creativity and critical thinking – qualities that distinguish the Regeneron STS program.

The Board presented certificates of recognition to the students during the meeting, celebrating their achievements alongside their teachers, families and peers.

These remarkable young scientists join a national community of scholars who are shaping the future of STEM research and innovation.
