At the Dec. 12 meeting, the Herricks Board of Education was proud to recognize Herricks High School senior and New York State Girls Tennis Singles Champion Angel Walia.

During her introduction, the Board members remarked on Angel’s exceptional court speed, agility and impressive power on her ground strokes, along with her dedication and determination that are second to none.

This was a great way to end her story as a Herricks student-athlete, and we cannot wait to see what she achieves as a Division I athlete at Binghamton University.
