Herricks Board of Education Honors Long Island Soccer Champions

At the Dec. 11 meeting, the Herricks Board of Education proudly recognized the Herricks High School Boys Soccer team for their historic 2025 season. The Highlanders captured the Nassau County Class AAA Championship – the program’s first county title in 20 years – and went on to claim the Long Island Class AAA Championship, marking a major milestone for the team.

In addition to celebrating the players, the district also honored Head Coach Adriana Mendrinos, who was named Nassau County Coach of the Year for her outstanding leadership and the pivotal role she played in guiding the team to this remarkable season.

The district congratulates the athletes and Coach Mendrinos on their extraordinary achievements and their place in Herricks athletic history.
