On June 12, the Board of Education held the final meeting of the 2024–2025 school year. What better way to wrap up the year than by honoring some of our outstanding students and parents!

One student from each grade level at every elementary school was selected for embodying the six competencies of the Portrait of a Graduate. We are proud to honor these students for demonstrating collaboration, communication, critical thinking, compassion, creativity and confidence.

The Board of Education also honored the school district PTA presidents from Center Street, Denton Avenue, Searingtown, Herricks Middle School, Herricks High School, the District Council and SEPTA. We are extremely grateful to have such dedicated parents who work tirelessly to enhance our students’ experiences and make Herricks a better place!
