1. How do I sign up for ParentSquare?
Herricks Public Schools will send you an invitation email or text message to join ParentSquare.
Click the link to activate your account. If you don't receive an invitation or need to know what your login information is, please reach out to your child's school office. We use the email address you provided when you registered your student.
2. How do I fix or change my contact details?
ParentSquare syncs with the Herricks Public Schools student information in Infinite Campus. You cannot directly change your contact information in ParentSquare.
Contact your child's school office to update your contact information in Infinite Campus. Changes will appear in ParentSquare after the next nightly sync.
3. How do I add a missing student?
Missing a child/school in your ParentSquare account? This may be due to inconsistent contact information across schools or multiple ParentSquare accounts.
(One Account): Contact your child's school to update your contact information in Infinite Campus. Ensure the same email and phone number are on file for all your children and schools.
(Multiple Accounts): Contact your child's school to update your contact information in Infinite Campus. Verify that each of your children has the same email and phone number listed for you. Delete any ParentSquare accounts with incorrect information (choose "Delete" within your account settings).
- How do I update my language preference?
Want messages translated or displayed in a different language?
In a web browser, click on your name to update your language preferences. In the app, go to Account > Preferences. Select your preferred language and save. If the change doesn't stick, contact your school office to update your language preference in the SIS.
5. How do I stop or change notifications?
ParentSquare allows you to customize notifications. Notification types include Emergency Alerts (cannot be disabled), School Alerts, and General Announcements.
On your home page, click the down arrow next to your name and select "My Account." Select "Customize your settings" under Notification Settings.
From your home screen, tap the three lines in the top left corner. Tap "Account," then "Preferences," then "Notification Settings."
