2019-2020

High School: Football Stadium Screens
Purchased wind screen signs to be placed above the top bleacher area that read :Herricks Highlanders" and "Home of the Highlanders".

Middle School Bleaches
Purchased 2 new portable bleaches for the middle school athletic field. 

High School: Benches
Purchased 2 17' benches with shelf for the turf field.

Middle School: Benches
Purchased 2 17' benches with shelf for the football/soccer field.

2018-2019

High School: Tennis Courts
Purchased new wind screens for the high school tennis courts.

High School: Baseball Field
Purchased new wind screens for the high school baseball field. They go along the outfield and read "Home of the Herricks Highlanders".

High School: Comfort Station
Purchased new equipment and shelving for the Comfort Station. 

Commuity Center: Athletic Field
Refurbished the storage container at the Community Center athletic field. Sanded, primed and painted the container. Divided containder into three partitions and added another entry door. Lacrosse, soccer abd Athletic Boosters all have one storage room for equipment. 

2017-2018

Center Street: Basketball Court Stencils
Full court basketball courts stenciled at  Center Street basketball courts.

Baseball HS Field Dugouts
Purchased 10' x 20' Steel dugouts for High School baseball field. Install on cement platforms on 1st and 3rd base dugouts.

Homecoming Football Jersey

Purchased 50 custom HS Football jerseys to be used by HS football team for Homecoming. These jersey's will be reused each year for homecoming game.

2016-2017

Center Street: Basketball Benches
Two 16' team benches were purchased to be installed during Fall 2017 at Center Street basketball courts.

(x4) Treadmills
(x4) Treadmills were donated to Herricks High School Workout Center.

30' Endzone Camera
30' Endzone camera was  donated to Herricks High School Athletic Department. The camera will be used by AV Department and multiple teams to film games and practices.

Baseball Storage Locker
Purchased 10' x 20' Steel container for High School baseball field. Installed on cement platform on 3rd base side of field. Used for batting cage equipment and grounds crew equipment.

High School Sand Pit Covers

We have donated the covers for high school sand pits. Covers need to be framed out and installed. Scheduled to be completed by May 2017.

Center Street Fence Clips
These fence clips were requested by Center St Principal to improve general appearance at Center St. American Flag and “Center Street Rocks!” were purchased.

Denton Avenue Fence Clips
These fence clips were requested by Denton Ave Principal to improve general appearance at Denton Ave. American Flag and “Denton Ave Rocks!” were purchased.

These fence clips were requested by HS Student Government to improve general appearance at HS. American Flag, (x2) Pink Ribbons, (x2) Orange Ribbons and “Highlander Pride” were purchased.

These fence clips were requested by MS Principal to improve general appearance at MS. American Flag and “Welcome to HMS!” were purchased.

 Searingtown Fence Clips
These fence clips were requested by Searingtown Principal to improve general appearance at Searingtown. American Flag and “Searingtown Rocks!” were purchased.

X3 Treadmills
(x3) Treadmills were donated to Herricks Middle School Workout Center. Mats for these machines were also donated

Donated money to offset cost of t-shirts for the Leukemia Fund Raiser

 

High School Softball Fence
Donated a temp Softball outfield fence to HS Softball Field. It will be approx. 290’ from home and cover complete outfield. It is a temporary fence that will be installed in early March

 

Center Street Playground Stencils
Have purchased and installed playground stencils for Center Street. These include 2 Box, 4 Box and two different type of hopscotch games. Addition stencils will be added in March 2016.

 

Denton Ave Playground Stencils
Have purchased playground stencils for Denton Ave school. These include 2 Box, 4 Box and two different type of hopscotch games. These stencils are scheduled to be installed Spring 2016.

Center Street Basketball Courts

We are scheduled to donate stencil, paint and resources to create 2 full basketball courts and 1 additional half court at Center Street school. Basketball bench and portal basketball hoop will be added as part of project. Project to be completed Spring 2016

 Denton Ave Basketball Courts

We are scheduled to donate stencil, paint and resources to create 2 full basketball courts at Denton Ave school. Basketball bench and portal basketball hoop may be added as part of project. Project to be completed Spring 2016

Boys Lacrosse and Soccer Scorer Platform
The scorer’s table will be used at the Community Center field for Boys JV and Varsity Lacrosse and Soccer games.

The scorer’s table will be used at the High School fields for Girls JV and Varsity Lacrosse and Soccer games.

Donated 225 t-shirts to HS Football Team to help their Sloan Kettering Fund Raiser.

Donated “Green” Water Fountian 

Donated a GREEN water fountain to the Searingtown. This allows students to fill water bottles. It has a bottle counter and is filtered water.

 

High School Storage Unit

Donated a 40’ x 10’ steel storage unit for the High School grounds crew. The container will serve multiple purposes. It will provide additional storage for equipment used to maintain district fields. 

 

Portable 15’ 4 Row Bleachers

Donated (x2) 15’ 4 row bleachers. Both will be used at high school for athletic events.

Middle School Football/Lacrosse Scoreboard 
The Scoreboard is suitable for Football and Lacrosse.  The scoreboard is 10’ x 12’ and shows game information along with Highlander Logo in the center.

 

Donated T-Shirts to Football Team for Leukemia Fund Raiser

Donated 150 t-shirts to HS Football Team to help their Sloan Kettering Fund Raiser.

 

Portable Speaker System for the HS Football Field

Two heavy duty speakers were purchased for use at HS/MS events. Can be used for announcements and/or music. They have been used for a number of events at the HS and Community Center.

Donated a GREEN water fountain to the Middle School. This allows students to fill water bottles. It has a bottle counter and is filtered water.

 

Water Bottles to Every Middle School Student

Donated water bottles to every middle school student. They can use them at the new water fountain. Helping to reduce water bottle pollution.

 

Shoot-A-Way Gun 6000

Donated Shoot-a-way Gun 6000 basketball practice machine to High School. Will be used by boys and girls basketball teams. Allows players to practice shooting at faster pace.

Community Center Storage Unit
Donated a 40’ x 10’ steel storage unit for the Community Center fields. The container will serve multiple purposes. It will provide storage for Boys Soccer and Boys Lacrosse field equipment. The Athletic Boosters will also use a portion of the unit to create a Shed to sell out of. This will be used for Soccer and Lacrosse games/tournaments. 

  

2012-2013

Track Nets 
Cover the curves of the track 8’-50’ net that protects each end of the girls lacrosse field from lacrosse shots. The nets are also used at Denton Street during Fall Lacrosse Showcase and Summer Lacrosse League.

Large Gym Scorer’s Table 
New Scorer’s table was purchased for Large HS Gym. The table is used for both JV and Varsity basketball games. 

Small Gym Scorer’s Table 
Existing Scorer’s table was refurbished for Small HS Gym. It replaced existing table that no longer worked. The table is used for both JV and Varsity basketball games.

Sound System for Cheerleaders

Donated two Boom boxes to Cheerleaders to be used by Varsity and JV. They are used at practice and games.

 

Baseball Scoreboard
The Scoreboard is used by both JV and Varsity Baseball.   The board is approximately 12’ wide and 8 ‘ height.

The Scoreboard is used by both JV and Varsity Softball as well as JV and Varsity Gils Soccer.  The board is approximately 8’ wide and 6‘ height. 

 

Football Field Goal Posts

Donated (w/Class of 2011) new Goal Post for High School Football field.

 

Portable 15’ 4 Row Bleachers

Donated (x2) 15’ 4 row bleachers. One will be used at community center for soccer and lacrosse. Second will be used at Middle School for multiple sports.

 

Two Digital Video Recorders - (Cameras)

For use for all Athletic Teams and events to film games. Donated to TV Studio department.

 

Track Hurdles

Purchased 2 dozen track hurdles for track team. They will be used by both JV and Varsity Track teams.

High School Basketball Backboards

Donated 2 new basketball backboards for the high school small gym. Replaced two main backboards.

 

Signage for Cheerleaders

Donated new signage for both Varsity and JV Cheerleaders. These signs are used at basketball and football games.

30’ Flag Pole High School

Donated new 30’ Flag Pole along with new flag. District installed pole and spot light for flag.

Shot Put Area at High School

Providing funding for new shot put area at the high school. Herricks Grounds Crew did a great job of building the new area.

Customized Floor Mats– Entry into the Main Gymnasium Lobby

6x10’ Customized all weather Mat w/logo – Three Color for use outside the Main Gymnasium Lobby-HS HOF.

Large Gym Amplifier with New Sound System

Donated new sound system for large high school gym. Contains 4 large speakers and amplifier that supports multiple input. Used for both athletic and school events.

 

Small Gym Amplifier with New Sound System

Donated new sound system for small high school gym. Contains 2 large speakers and amplifier that supports multiple input. Used for both athletic and school events.

 

Middle School Basketball Backboards

Donated 2 new basketball backboards for the middle school gym. Replaced two main backboards.

 

                        2009-2010

 

Highlander Hut

Athletic Boosters donated resources to clean and rebuild the Hut at the high school football field. The Highlander Hut will now be managed by HAB and opened for sporting events. Rollup Gate for the window and shutters were also added.

 

Lacrosse Fiddle Sticks to District

HAB worked with Herricks school board to add a lacrosse section to each elementary school’s yearly syllabus. The HAB purchased lacrosse fiddle sticks and nets for Center Street, Denton Ave and Searingtown. Enough equipment was purchased for 2 gym classes at each school.

Community Center Scoreboard

The Herricks Athletic Boosters, along with Albertson Soccer, have donated a scoreboard to the community center lacrosse/soccer field. The scoreboard will be used by Herricks high school teams.
