Denton Participates in P.S. I Love You Day
Denton Students proudly wore their purple Denton duck shirts in honor of “P.S. I Love You Day.” On the second Friday of every February, communities are encouraged to wear purple in order to foster kindness, create a welcoming environment and that mental health is just as important as physical health. Mrs. Petrone’s class created scratch-offs with kind words.

Denton Gemini Students Visit Herricks High School
5th Grade Gemini Students for all Herricks elementary Schools went on a field trip to Herricks High School on Friday, December 16, 2022. Our Gemini students were assigned a country to research and present their findings at the end of the session. The high school students prepared representations of different countries to start the conversation. The groups discussed climate, resource security and the impact of Covid and the war in Ukraine. The students worked in groups of 10 and represented their assigned country and the impacts at the end of the conference.
