The Herricks High School LMC is not only a great resource for the students but also the staff. We have thousands of books, both fiction and non-fiction available to the entire Herricks family, as well as magazines and daily newspapers. Also, the databases we subscribe to are an excellent place to search for materials to use with your students and for your own reading.

News ELA
This resource allows you to print current, meaningful, interesting articles. But here is the best part... you can print the same article at 5 different reading levels! How cool is that? The easiest level doesn't loose meaning, it is just simplified very nicely. You can also assign an online quiz for the article, or annotate it right on the website, ask students questions about highlighted sections, etc. You may need to sign up for a free trial to access most of the articles.
