Herricks High School Newly Renovated Auditorium Unveiled in Time for Spring Production

On March 23, Herricks Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tony Sinanis, district administrators, retired Superintendent of Schools Dr. Fino Celano, and cast members of the spring musical “The Putman County 25th Annual Spelling Bee” officially unveiled the newly renovated auditorium at Herricks High School.

Herricks High School presented “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” a musical comedy on March 24, 25 and 26 in the school’s newly renovated auditorium.

Herricks High School senior artist recognized

Herricks High School senior Natalie Zhou is being recognized by the Region-at-Large program of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards 2023 for eight of her pieces including a Gold Key for three of her works, a Silver Key for two of her works and an Honorable Mention for three of her works. 

Herricks hosted the Long Island Jazz Festival

The Herricks Music Department hosted the Long Island Jazz Festival on March 10 at Herricks Middle School.
