Herricks High School Celebrates Homecoming
Herricks High School football field was alive with excitement as students, staff and community members celebrated Homecoming festivities on Oct. 28. The Highlanders faced off against The Roslyn Bulldogs in an action-packed game, ultimately defeating the Bulldogs by a score of 19-17.

Herricks student art on display at the 2022 Nassau County High School Exhibit
Herricks High School junior Gabby Cardone will have her artwork on display at The Art Guild's 2022 Nassau County High School Exhibit taking place in November. In addition to being part of the exhibit, she will be considered for an award as well.

Herricks students receive grant from Long Island Regional Planning Council for LI Water Quality Challenge
Herricks High School students Aieshah Ashfer, Ananya Chaubal, Emily Eng, Shivani Kapoor, Vishnitha Karunakar, Sitaara Kesavan, Krishay Matneja, Samaira Pai and Zunairah Sikder were recently presented with a $2,500 grant as 2021-2022 winners of the Long Island Regional Planning Council’s Long Island Water Quality Challenge.

Herricks Elementary Students Create Storybook Pumpkin Patch
Searingtown Elementary students in third, fourth and fifth grades were invited to decorate a pumpkin at home to look like a favorite book character and bring it back to school to plant in the Storybook Pumpkin Patch for display in the school’s library.

Herricks students honored in College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program
Herricks High School is proud to announce that seniors Rocco DiGirolomo and Orlando Salinas were selected for the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP). Like the National Merit Scholarship program, the NHRP recognizes Hispanic/Latino students for their academic achievements and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT.
