• Herricks Tri-M Concert Kicks Off a Musical Year

    Herricks High School’s auditorium was illuminated during the first concert of the school year, presented by Tri-M Music Honor Society members on Oct. 30. Several ensembles featured outstanding compilations on and in front of the stage. As a highlight, some of the instrumentalists even filled the aisles as they provided extraordinary music just feet from their audience.

  • Karina Ng Represents Herricks Music Nationally

    Herricks High School senior Karina Ng has been accepted to the prestigious All-National Honor Ensembles, sponsored by the National Association for Music Education. In November, she will travel to Disney in Orlando, Florida, where she will join other top musicians from across the country

  • Fourth-Grade Musicians Represent Herricks at PEAK Festival

    Music students from the Herricks Public Schools’ Searingtown School participated in the 17th Annual PEAK Festivalon Nov. 16. As PEAK stands for parents, educators and kids, the young musicians and their parents were joined by teachers.

  • Herricks Model United Nations Team Attends Brown University UN Conference

    On the weekend of November 8th-10th, over 40 students from the Herricks Model United Nations team attended the Brown University UN Conference. Over the course of 2 days, these students endured intense debate and practiced professional diplomacy. Brown offered all types of committees from all across history, from the Gilded Age in 1892 to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes in 2019.
