Class Policies

• Be respectful to your teacher and classmates at all times.
• Put your best effort into your work.
  
• Come into class quietly and sit in your assigned seat.
• Bring required materials to class each day.
  
• Find two classmates to be your homework buddies. Call a homework buddy any time you are absent to find out what you have missed.
• If you need to use the bathroom or sharpen your pencil please do so during the first few minutes of class.
• Ask permission in Chinese to use the bathroom or get a drink of water.
• You are still responsible for the work you miss if you have music sectionals. Find out from a classmate what the assignments are.
  
• Spend at least 20 minutes each day studying class notes.
  

• Grades will be based on the following:

• classwork (oral participation, attentive listening, cooperation and respectful behavior)
  
• quizzes and unit tests
  
• homework preparation
